2. The APDRP project is financed by way of 25% grant and 25% soft loan by Central Government. Balance 50% of the project cost is met through loan from Rural Electrification Corporation Limited.

3. Erection of new High tension (HT) / Low tension (LT) lines, Re-conductoring of existing lines by higher size conductors, conversion of existing line to 3 phase 5 wire, providing new distribution transformer centers, providing LT capacitors to distribution transformer centers, providing ETV Meters to DTCs for DTC wise energy audit, renovation works in existing distribution transformer centers, laying of new cables, replacing of deteriorated old 11 KV paper insulated under ground cables by XLPE cables, etc. are taken up under distribution improvement works of APDRP scheme, to improve the quality and reliability of power, reduce T & D losses and minimise the interruptions.

4. Distribution Transformer Center Wise energy audit is being carried out. The benefits derived from the sanctioned APDRP Projects are being monitored from the month wise data, like energy billed, collection efficiency, T&D Loss, No.of feeders trippings, reliability index, etc. being furnished to MOP, GOI.
